The Kettlebell Snatch - 4 Parts to Perfection
by Anthony DiLuglio
I am Anthony DiLuglio, owner of Punch Kettlebell Gym in Providence, Rhode Island and creator of the “Art of Strength” DVD workout series. In my past two articles for Perform Better, I focused intensely on the kettlebell swing. Why do I spend so much time on the swing? If you cannot properly perform the swing, you will not properly perform more advanced drills such as the snatch. This time, let’s take a look at how to apply what you learned with the swing to the kettlebell snatch.
Most kettlebell drills are far more dynamic than what you may be used to with traditional free weight exercises. It becomes very challenging, therefore, to adequately describe these moves in writing. You really need to see it to appreciate it. So, I’ve provided a quick, 4-part video series to get you there fast! These videos are straight from my original Minute of Strength series and have received rave reviews from hundreds of new kettlebellers worldwide.

- Kettlebell Snatch Exercise Part 2
- Kettlebell Snatch Exercise Part 3
- Kettlebell Snatch Exercise Part 4
These 4 video clips contain plenty of basic training to get anyone started safely with kettlebells. You can start to get the feel for all of these drills using a dumbbell… but you’ll want to purchase a kettlebell or two to get the full benefit. Watch this training zone for future articles.
